Lisa Schaffer
Vice President of Client SuccessLisa Schaffer is in the business of human relationships.
As our Vice President of Client Success, Lisa’s role is to match our clients’ needs with BSTRO’s business expertise. And that’s a good thing, because she’s built a successful 25-year career developing genuine human relationships while growing some of the most recognized brands in North America.
Lisa launched her career at Starbucks Coffee Company in positions ranging from store operations to human resources (did we mention she’s a people person?), finally serving as a Territory Manager for the company’s outside sales division — where she directed more than 120 foodservice accounts. That’s a lot of lattes.
After Starbucks, Lisa brought her strategic relationship skills to a new level, helping negotiate and execute government contracts for immigrant settlement agencies in British Columbia, and then serving as Sales Director for an event management company, where she helped transition the business into a (very successful) sharing economy model.
Our clients say that Lisa is the heart of BSTRO, and they’re right. She practices servant leadership at every turn, never misses an opportunity to coach and build culture, and is evangelical about finding creative business solutions for our clients. Lisa’s unparalleled ability to put herself in our clients’ shoes — to see things from someone else’s perspective — makes her unique, and a force to be reckoned with.
When she’s not performing feats of magic for BSTRO clients, you’ll likely find her running or hiking the trails of British Columbia. She also volunteers her time and talent as a patient advocate and advisor to Obesity Canada, where she works to elevate the conversation about what health and wellness really looks like.
Lisa can also sew a fantastic tote bag, and knows all the words to Paradise by the Dashboard Light.
