B’STRO AND UCSF TAKE THE GOLD FOR “COMMITTED TO THE CITY”

December 14, 2011

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) recently announced its 2012 District VII Awards of Excellence winners, with the University of California, San Francisco receiving high recognition for “UCSF: Committed to the City,” created by interactive marketing and branding agency BSTRO.

“UCSF: Committed to the City,” an ongoing interactive experience conceptualized, designed and developed by BSTRO, in conjunction with UCSF’s University Relations and Strategic Communications, received the prestigious gold award in the category of Individual Public Relations and Community Relations Projects.

Committed to the City invites site visitors to explore a map of San Francisco, showcasing high-impact UCSF projects from across the city. From there, stories about UCSF’s impact on everything from community outreach in underserved communities to large-scale health events are told through video, audio, articles and photo slideshows. All of this comes together to effectively build awareness of UCSF’s vast reach throughout San Francisco while engaging visitors.
