BSTRO Ranked #16 of Top 50 LGBTQ-Owned Businesses

BSTRO is thrilled to announce that, for the second year in a row, it has been named by The San Francisco Business Times as a top fifty LGBT-owned businesses in the Bay Area, ranking at #16 this year. The announcement came on June 1st at the Business Times Gala “Celebration of the Business of Pride” where hundreds of representatives from Bay Area LGBT-owned businesses and allies were present. In addition to this event, BSTRO will be named in June’s issue of The San Francisco Business Times which coincides with Pride Month in San Francisco.

BSTRO is honored by this recognition and is proud to be a vital part of the San Francisco business community. Since starting in 2004, BSTRO has been a strong supporter, sponsor, and provider of marketing services for many LGBT community causes including, the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, StrutSF.org, AIDS/LifeCycle, Athlete Ally, Positive Pedalers, Health Initiative for Men, BC Centre for Disease Control, Vancouver Queer Film Festival, Frameline, Options for Sexual Health, Horizon’s Foundation, Qmunity and Out in Schools.

“BSTRO has always had a team that is at least 60 percent female, 20 percent LGBT, and 40 percent born outside of the US and Canada”, says Jill Tracy, President and Chief Creative Officer at BSTRO. Such diversity allows the BSTRO team to bring different viewpoints and offer innovative solutions to clients to from their New York, Vancouver and San Francisco offices. BSTRO believes this commitment to inclusion is directly related to their year-over-year growth for the last thirteen years.
